NewsTow My Camper Competition Has Been Won & Run!
We were very happy to have along the Matthews and the Pearce’s as our competition winners a couple of Saturdays ago to sample the first of our recreational towing training programs called Tow My Camper (TMC). We’ve been delivering tow programs to Government and Industry for years now and decided after frequent requests from the public to offer a recreational version.
For folk about to embark on a big trip into the Outback it’s one thing to know how you and your 4WD will go, but what happens when you hitch the trailer on the back? With the increased length and weight, what compromises are there on your ability to negotiate the rough and tumble?
TMC has a morning theory session where we look at making sure we’ve got the weight right, tyres set accordingly, the right mindset for both on and off-road driving styles and where likely you’ll strike problems.
